   The Skip Watts Memorial Exhibit

   The Sangamon Watercolor Society and Watts Copy Systems are proud to launch a state-wide juried watercolor exhibit in honor of Skip Watts, a longtime friend of the arts. Throughout  his lifetime, Skip offered encouragement, enthusiasm and devotion to community arts development. This state-wide juried watercolor exhibit honors his memory.

   The Sangamon Watercolor Society is a respected central Illinois watercolor group with a 25-year history. The members support group exhibits, workshops by nationally recognized artists, judged full membership exhibits, monthly programs, and plein air sessions. Composed of members from beginners to advanced painters, this active group is taking its activities to the next level by inviting Illinois transparent watercolorists to enter this competition.

The exhibit runs through May 24, 2013.
